About Noah

Noah Schantz is an independent singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer based in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has been active as a singer and songwriter since the age of twelve, and has launched and contributed to the Noah Gray project since the age of fourteen. Over the years, he has performed at various events (including the Central States Fair in 2015, Rapid City, SD, and the 2022 Rossini Festival in Knoxville, TN), led worship services at multiple churches, and competed in multiple singing competitions as a teenager; the most recent being the 2020 ACE Awards in Knoxville, where he received First Place in the Open Singing category.  He has performed in a variety of venues and theatres, including The Princess Theatre (Harriman, TN), the Open Chord and the Bijou Theatre (Knoxville, TN), and collaborated with multiple local artists and producers; among this list include rappers Skye Yonne and Enfo, and producer Travis Wyrick (Dolly Parton, The Letter Black, Disciple, Pillar). Noah was also a guest on WDVX's Blue Plate Special on their Tuesday, June 14th, 2021 broadcast.

 

He posts periodically on his YouTube channel, where he uploads videos of him performing covers of songs spanning a wide range of genres. His most notable video, a cover of Leave it All To Me by Miranda Cosgrove and Drake Bell, has obtained over 27,000 views at the time of this writing. The channel collectively has over 60,000 views and boasts just over 800 subscribers. He also distributes his original music through Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, and other services. 

Noah has also received coverage from numerous publications from both within the United States

and in other countries. These publications include, but are not limited to: Fruit Sonic, Rising Artists, Roadie Music, and Knoxville Voyager Magazine. In addition, Noah possesses an Associate's Degree in Music (Vocal Performance) from Pellissippi State Community College and has been given an award for Outstanding Progress in Music during his time there. He was a member of the college's auditioned choir, the Variations group, and has performed as a soloist with the group at their 2022 Rossini Festival set. In addition, Noah was part of a 100+ member choir that performed a 2022 Memorial Day concert in Carnegie Hall, performing John Rutter's Requiem and conducted by John Rutter himself.
